    Let’s get one thing out of the way first: this is NOT a sales position. It <em>is</em> all about being proactive in customer relationships and communication – working directly with our customers to help them be as successful as they can be using our software. As Customer Account Manager, you’ll get to know our customers really well, becoming their main point of contact, advocate and software expert. In short, you’ll be indispensable!

    The Customer Account Manager is an expert in MSI software who acts as a customer advocate, working proactively with our customers to build and maintain a close working relationship and ensuring their objectives are met or exceeded in using field service software from MSI.

    The ideal candidate will be upbeat, have strong software, mobile or other related technical skills, be an undeniably great communicator, and have experience working directly with customers in a software setting.

    Major Responsibilities

    <!–mep-nl–><!–mep-nl–><ul><!–mep-nl–><!–mep-tab–><li>Proactive, consistent communication with customers </li><!–mep-nl–><!–mep-tab–><li>Answer customer questions and solve customer issues as quickly and thoroughly as possible</li><!–mep-nl–><!–mep-tab–><li>Work with MSI team members in technical support, development and professional services </li><!–mep-nl–><!–mep-tab–><li>Establish and maintain relationships throughout each customer organization (executive level, mid management and end-users)</li><!–mep-nl–><!–mep-tab–><li>Ensure a positive customer experience and demonstrate MSI corporate values in all interactions</li><!–mep-nl–><!–mep-tab–><li>Identify and communicate additional areas of business value MSI software can bring to clients</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Lead change management initiatives with clients to help them improve effectiveness in use of MSI software</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Provide status updates to support team and escalate issues as appropriate to ensure completion</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Manage multiple concurrent projects to completion</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Manage contacts in assigned customer base</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Constantly seek to increase MSI software product knowledge through available training opportunities</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Schedule and perform demonstrations of new versions and/or functionality for customers</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Contribute to creation of customer self-service help content</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Interact with customers to communicate upgrade and other important product update bulletins</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Provide periodic reporting and update per quarterly plans</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Participate in process improvement and interdepartmental communications</li><!–mep-nl–></ul><!–mep-nl–></br><!–mep-nl–>

    Professional Qualifications

    <!–mep-nl–><ul><!–mep-nl–><li> 4-Year Degree</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Previous customer-facing experience with a software firm </li><!–mep-nl–><li> Ability to work successfully on a team of multiple customer and internal teams and resources</li><!–mep-nl–><li> Excellent interpersonal, written/email, phone/verbal communication, presentation and organizational skills</li><!–mep-nl–><li> Strong time-management skills and abilities to communicate deadlines and dependencies</li><!–mep-nl–><li> Proactive self-starter with a record of producing results with minimal direction</li><!–mep-nl–></ul><!–mep-nl–></br><!–mep-nl–>

    Additional Desired Skills

    <!–mep-nl–><ul><!–mep-nl–><li>Microsoft Office applications</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Experience with CRM software, preferably Salesforce</li><!–mep-nl–><li>Commitment to and sense of urgency for issue resolution to minimize customer business impact</li><!–mep-nl–></ul><!–mep-nl–></br><!–mep-nl–>
