Solution Consulting Manager

As the Solution Consulting Manager, you’ll lead the Solution Consulting Team that guides customers through the digital transformation of their businesses with Service Pro, MSI’s automated field service management solution built on the latest cloud and mobile technologies.

Your Role on the Team

Leadership

  • Drive achievement of consulting goals and metrics aligned with world class B2B enterprise SaaS companies. Key metrics to include: exceeding billable project utilization targets, executing project plan processes, SLA’s and Go Live duration goals, among others.
  • Ensure accountability, transparency and results from your team
  • Proactive influence, value and transparency in our Customer interactions
  • Mentor and develop your team on best practices and thought leadership for deploying automated field service solutions and Service Pro.
  • Guide your team’s career development and progression towards increased competencies and responsibility. 
  • Collaborate and ensure mutual alignment with Sales, providing scoping guidance, documentation, and implementation packages. 
  • Collaborate and ensure mutual alignment with Engineering|Product on Roadmap planning, tooling, and specifications. 
  • Plan and execute team meetings aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Meets performance targets as defined during annual planning.

Customer Implementations

  • Strategic Customer solution support to Solution Consultants and Project Managers.
  • Ensures the team achieves high levels of Customer satisfaction through the implementation process. 
  • Travel is minimal

Practice Management

  • Contributes best practice ideas to the team and incorporates new processes. 
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team to define implementation strategy, packages and project playbooks.

 

Professional Qualities and Background

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in MIS, Business or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B software implementation, technology management, or solution creation. 
  • Technology team management experience. Skilled at recruiting and developing a team. 
  • Organized, high attention to detail, and must be able to shift tasks as needed due to management, schedules and changing priorities.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong time-management skills and abilities to communicate deadlines and dependencies.
  • Willingness to innovate and continuously improve; enjoys teaching and assisting other team members.
  • Proactive self-starter with a record of producing results with minimal direction.

Nice to Haves

  • ERP implementation experience 
  • Cloud and mobile technology configuration experience; i.e. Salesforce.com, NetSuite, etc.
  • Sales engineering or customer demo experience
