    Working with the MSI team, and using some of the most advanced sales and marketing technologies such as Hubspot, Salesforce.com, and SalesLoft, the Business Development Intern will work towards achieving our goals for new lead generation and prospect sales opportunities and reseller channel development through participation in MSI business development initiatives.

    What will I be doing?

    You’ll be marketing and selling to prospective customers and channel partners from campaign inception to completion. This work will include, but is not limited to, database marketing, targeted calling, lead follow up, introducing new products to the existing partner base, presenting to new hardware or software partners to build an integrated solution, calling on Value Added Resellers (VARs) to grow our channel, creating digital marketing programs to drive partner interest (new SKUs, promotions, or messaging), and working with the sales team and partners to close new business. We’re looking for someone creative enough to dream up new growth opportunities who also has the passion and drive to make those a reality.

  • Marketing Intern – Business Development Position – Minimum Requirements:

    • Proven business skills in sales, marketing and /or account management
    • Previous marketing internship experience
    • Current BS or BA candidate in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Engineering, Entrepreneurship or related degree program
    • Passion for the latest in mobile technology (iOS, Android, and Windows)
    • Burning desire to work in the software industry
    • Excellent face to face and phone presentation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication and organizational skills
    • Commitment to and sense of urgency for project timelines
    • Works well in a team
    • High comfort level with measurement and metrics
    • Tremendous career ambition!

  • Additional Desired Skills & Experience

    • Previous internship or professional experience with sales, marketing, business development, or channel management
    • Understanding of and experience with CRM and marketing automation systems (Salesforce.com and Hubspot preferred)
    • Experience with inside sales
    • Creation and management of marketing campaign messaging and deliverables
    • Experience selling or marketing business software
